Robert Thomas is a musician carrying on the legacy of the classic rock and roll artists plus original compositions. His philosophy, “The Art of Music – Engaging the Human,” connects the human heart and soul through the universal language of music. Playing classic rock ‘n roll music is his lifelong passion; the energy from that generation translates to pure joy. And performing live provides a thrill from seeing the audience enjoy the music as much as he does.
Robert Thomas’ musical background is in jazz education as well as the Blues. He has been influenced by the music of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Buddy Guy, Wes Montgomery, Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Robert Thomas has performed live overseas and locally, including the opening act for a Tower of Power summer concert in 2012. He is currently in the studio creating original compositions with Producer Roger Smith.
A native of Sonoma County, it is exciting for him to perform at this year’s Russian River Blues Festival.
